| The Catalog Section
of MARINER'S ANNUAL presents products
and equipment of interest to our readers at sea, their
purchasing agents ashore, and their suppliers. The presentations
are created from the literature of hundreds of manufacturers
from all over the world. Each product is shown with
a picture, an ordering number, and a full description
(with technical specifications, where applicable).
All presentations in the Catalog
Section appear at editorial expense and discretion.
For this reason, most items are shown only once in
this section. Certain items, e.g., anodes and packings, are
presented as cross-reference charts. The essentials
to build, maintain, and operate a ship or rig are
included in this section, making it of interest to
naval architects and shipyards as well as masters,
chief engineers, and purchasing managers.
The section contains complete
listings for:
- deck equipment
- electrical equipment (U.S.,
European, and Japanese)
- pipes, valves, and fittings
(U.S., DIN, and JIS)
- safety equipment (up-to-date
per SOLAS requirements)
- tools (in metric and Imperial
sizes)
- galley and cabin equipment
- chemicals (tank cleaning, fuel
additives, deck and bulkhead
cleaners, etc.)
